This year’s calendar features 13 full-colour paintings by the world-renowned Tolkien artist, John Howe, depicting scenes from across the panoply of tales contained within the History of Middle-earth. From the legendary First Age when the Valar shaped the world, and the Second Age which saw the fall of Numenor, through to the Third Age which culminated in the War of the Ring.
Now presented for the first time in calendar form, and accompanied by a brand new painting and numerous pencil drawings, and with an insightful introduction by Brian Sibley, Tolkien fans can enjoy these dramatic depictions of the Three Ages of Middle-earth Age in greater depth than ever before.
