Reluctantly, the two band together with Sophie's sister Charlie and friends to find the Scissors of Death - the key to stopping Atropos, their engagement, and a foreboding prophecy from coming true. Meanwhile, Charlie's newfound powers are causing a strain on her own relationship, making her see the one who got away in a whole new light.
