This book is great for people who aren't confident artists. If you are a competent drawer and scan you images onto your mac/pc to work with this book would probably only offer you basics. Accompanying the book is a set of digital images, layouts and textures which can be manipulated to build your own Shoujo cartoon. The book also give information on basic shoujo principles. I recommend this book to learners of the art.
