ENEMY_THE. (L.Child)

The Enemy gives us Jack Reacher in his MP days, providing backstory for a character who has always been a bit of a cipher. It also offers a complex plot involving machinations among American military figures right after the fall of the BErlin wall. A bit of a change of pace, but a good military police thriller, well executed, with Child's trademark pacing softened by personal details from Reacher's life.
